Java File Upload with HTTP Put.
We are pleased to announce version 1.02 of Thin File Putter. Thin File Putter is an HTTP PUT method file uploader that can be used to efficiently upload very large files. If an upload is interrupted by user action or network errors, it can quite easily be resumed.
The new release aims to fix a bug that existed in the previous release and at the same time includes slight modifications which makes the applet more compatible with a wider range of webservers. Version 1.00, would sometimes indicate that a file was 0 (zero) bytes in length even when the file as uploaded in it’s entirity. This was simply an error in displaying the upload response however the issue has been addressed in Thin File Putter 1.02
The html used to embed the applet into web pages has also been changed to keep up with changes to the internet explorer browser.
