Thin FTP Applet Version 1.02 has been released. The primary purpose of this release is to modify the applet loading mechanism for compatibility with forthcoming updates to Internet Explorer.

The IE updates scheduled for distribution on the 11th of April, will change the way that dynamic content such as applets and flash are loaded and displayed by the applet. The applets will be loaded but they will not be automatically activated. The user will need to click on an applet in order to activate it.

While this change does not really effect the functionality of Thin FTP applet or any of our other products, some clients may think it inconvinient to have to click on an applet to activate it. Hence the need for a new release. New releases will be added to the other products in our portfolio as well for this reason.
