We are pleased to announce that The Professional Edition of the Thin SFTP applet has been released. The professional edition makes it even easier to add secure file transfer and management functionality to your web application.

Both editions (professional and standard) support the use of SSH keys. The difference between the professional and standard editions is that the latter allows for automatic login. The auto login feature works even without the need for SSH keys or the having to enter usernames and passwords. It does so by retrieving authentication information from a web url. The web url can be a part of your existing web application.

As with the standard edition the professional edition can also be used to carry out multiple file and folder uploads and downloads and any other file management tasks that you might do with a desktop client.
