By it’s appearence the Thin FTP client looks similar to the File Transfer Program that runs on any desktop computer. Appearences are deceptive. The Thin FTP client is an applet that is designed to be integrated into web applications. The goal is to provide users of your web application a convinient and familiar form of file management.

The Thin FTP applet is a feature rich software and includes many of the functionality you find in your desktop FTP client. Unlike our already available Thin FTP upload, this new product has the ability to download files as well as upload them. You can upload and download entire directories trees in a single click.

Other features that expect to find in a File Transfer Program such as directory management, changing file permissions etc have been included. What’s more the applet is multi threaded, which means you are free to manage your files while a transfer is in progress. You can even have several uploads and downloads happening at once.
